Frequently asked questions
How many cameras do I need for a family house?
For a typical house, 2 cameras covering the entrance and driveway are enough; 4 cameras cover all sides. We assess this exactly during the site visit.
IP cameras or Wi-Fi?
Wired IP cameras are more reliable and do not drop out when the signal is weak. We use Wi-Fi where a cable cannot be run.
How long is the recording kept?
It depends on the number of cameras, the resolution and the hard drive size. We set the recording length to suit your needs.
Will I see the cameras on my phone?
Yes, we set up the Hik-Connect or DMSS app and show you how to use it.
Do you also work outside Prague?
Yes, throughout the Central Bohemian Region. The site visit is free; any travel costs are included in the quote.
What warranty do you give?
24 months on equipment (some manufacturers give 36 months) and 24 months on the installation work.
